Our team compares the selfie with the photo on the document. No AI is involved: trained people, and only trained people.
A decision within 48 hours
Approved, or refused with a reason and the option to submit again. There is no limit on the number of attempts.
The result: the Verified Profile badge — visible to every member, and the key that unlocks everything else: messaging, matches, buying tokens and the Agency Service.

The classic scam pattern (move off the app, rush the relationship, ask for money) is blocked by the way the product is built.
Safety emergency? Write to support@wanyiyin.com with the subject "URGENT - SAFETY" — these messages get absolute priority and are handled within 4 hours.
Phone numbers shared in messages are blocked automatically

Storing and protecting your data
What we keep, and what we delete
Compliant with the GDPR, Benin's digital code (Law no. 2017-20) and the ECOWAS directive on personal data protection.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All sensitive data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are hashed irreversibly: Wanyiyin can never read them.
Your document deleted within 72 hours
Your ID document is permanently deleted from our servers within 72 hours of the verification decision. Only the yes-or-no result is kept.
Never visible to other members
Phone number, email address, ID document: none of it is accessible to other members. All contact goes through our own messaging.
Your data is never sold. Ever.
We make money from selling tokens, and from nothing else. Our commitment never to sell your data is written into the Privacy Policy, which makes it contractually binding.
